Fa, la, la, la, la...

We've been ringing in some major Christmas cheer here at home. Christmas cookies, movie specials, nighttime walks to look at neighborhood lights, gingerbread houses, gift wrapping...ring-a-ding-ding.

All of this of course means I've been spending very little time at my computer actually loading and posting photos, but I've got a little late-night free time so I thought I'd finally share a few of the Christmas things we've been enjoying lately:

Christmas Lights, Griswold style, that hover precariously somewhere on the line between awesome and tacky. (Just the way I like it. You're welcome neighbors.)

Baking cookies with Grandma.

My super talented sister who can work wonders on a little girl's hair. For realz.

And her super talented son. This kid can spend hours at a time, meticulously perfecting his craft. Pouring his time, energy, and focus into whatever it is that he is working on. Love that.

Sydney's first gingerbread house.

Only a few more days until Christmas. Hope you all are enjoying the season. I'm off to wrap a few more presents....fa, la, la, la, la....la, la, la...la!

  2. couldn't see some pics also. LOVE all the baking ones! How old is she now? I wanted to do sugar cookies with Mia (22 mths), but TWO batches did NOT come out because the dough was so dry and crumbly :( Maybe this weekend!

  3. Sorry about that, pics should be fixed now! Sydney turned two in October. Our cookies were a little less than perfect, with little fingerprints and half-cut cookies, but that's what it's all about! :)
